How They Met Tim is originally from Southern California and attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He went to a Pastor's Conference at Mount Hermon in Northern California and met Talisa who was babysitting another pastor's son during the conference. It was love at first sight! They dated for several months meeting often at the Calvary Chapel they attended in Northern California. They got engaged in December of 1996, and they were married in June of 1997 in Marin County. The Call Tim went on short-term outreaches to many countries when he was in the high school group at Calvary Chapel, and this is what the Lord used to direct his heart toward missionary work after he graduated. Tim and Talisa got married in June of 1997. They began to pray about where God might want to use them, and they felt led of the Lord to go to Brazil. What They are Doing Now Tim and Talisa have been in Brazil for five years. They moved to Sao Vicente first and started a church. They have been ministering in Campo Mourao for just over a year, and Tim has been teaching at the new Calvary Chapel Bible College there. They are planning to move to Iguassu Falls, Brazil which is on the border of two other countries, Paraguay and Argentina where they will be starting a new ministry. Let's keep them in prayer regarding this new work! Prayer Requests - Talisa's health.
- That they would get settled quickly when they move to Igaussu Falls.
- For Bethany and Abraham to adapt to the area and be protected by the Lord.
- That the Lord would continue to do above what we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
